Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, which NHS sites charge for parking and have not introduced concessionary arrangements that are clearly signposted for patients and the public.
Results from the 2015 Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) collection shows that 31% of NHS sites charge for car parking. Of those sites that charge, over 86% currently provide car parking charge concessions.
The following tables identify the hospital sites that charge, but do not offer concessions, or that offer them but do not prominently display that information.
It should be noted that the information supplied was collected from NHS organisations and has not been amended centrally.
