Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what information the Government holds on the number of people over the age of 18 who own a passport in each (a) parliamentary constituency and (b) local authority area in the UK.

Her Majesty’s Passport Office would only record the address details of a UK passport holder at the point of application.

It is, therefore, not possible to confirm how many individuals hold a UK passport in any parliamentary constituency or local authority area within the UK.
