Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, how many applications for new onshore wind farms have been submitted in the last year.

According to the Renewable Energy Planning Database, the last year of available published information for the period between November 2022 to October 2023 recorded 90 applications for new onshore wind projects submitted across the United Kingdom.
