To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people granted temporary leave to remain have subsequently been refused indefinite leave to remain upon re-application in each year since 2010.

The total number of people granted temporary leave to remain who have subsequently been refused indefinite leave to remain upon re-application in each year since 2010 is as follows:

2010 – 4,042

2011 – 3,334

2012 – 2,087

2013 – 3,097

2014 – 2,712

2015 – 1,364 (up to 30 June 2015 in line with published data)
