Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many and what proportion of claimants of universal credit did not receive the full payment within 10 weeks of submitting a claim.
This question was answered on 2nd November 2017
The latest available data is for new claims to UC Full Service that are due a payment in the week from 14 August 2017. For this group of claims, we find that 95% - 97% receive full payment ‘within 10 weeks of submitting a claim’.
These results may be revised as further data becomes available.
