Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many and what proportion of new claimants of universal credit did not receive the full payment within 10 weeks of submitting a claim.

The latest available data is for new claims to UC Full Service that are due a payment in the week from 14 August 2017. For this group of claims, we find that 95% - 97% receive full payment ‘within 10 weeks of submitting a claim’.

These results may be revised as further data becomes available.
