Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what data her Department holds on the cost of constraint payments as a result of bad weather in each year since 2010.

The Electricity System Operator retains constraint payment data covering every half hour of every day for the last seven years, which are available on request. There is no central record kept to link this data to storms or bad weather.
