Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether further fiscal measures are being considered to target foods high in sugar and fat.

The government currently has no plans to introduce further fiscal measures on sugar and fat. However, the government keeps all taxes under review at fiscal events and we will consider this issue carefully as part of the Autumn Budget process.
