We are actively seeking information from multilateral and unilateral representatives as well as the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe (STP), following reports of an attempted coup and alleged extra judicial killing of detainees in the country. We are working closely with bilateral and multilateral partners to determine how best to clarify the facts of the events and co-ordinate our response.
