Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the effect of social isolation on the cognitive skills of dementia sufferers.

Guidance on the national restriction states that although people are required to stay at home, there are exemptions to reduce risk of isolation. These include allowing people to form support bubbles and to provide care to vulnerable people. The guidance is available at the following link:
