Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what representations he has received from the general public expressing concerns on fracking for shale gas.

The Department receives many letters from the general public regarding a wide range of issues. The Government continues to work closely with regulators and with the shale industry to ensure that any concerns the general public may be experiencing are appropriately addressed.
