Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many additional staff her Department plans to (a) recruit and (b) contract to manage the transition of non-UK EU nationals to settled status.

The Home Office constantly reviews its capabilities and resources in order to deliver the priorities of the Government. The Department responded quickly to the challenges following the EU referendum last June.
Negotiations are continuing with our EU partners and we will update and finalise our plans on the workforce and capabilities required to manage the transition of non-UK EU nationals to settled status in due course.
