Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what estimate she has made of the financial contribution of the common agricultural policy to the heritage sector.

The department has not assessed the financial contribution of the common agricultural policy to the heritage sector. However both DCMS and DEFRA continue to work closely with stakeholders to make sure that heritage interests are fully considered in the policy development of any successor to the Common Agriculture Policy, including the Rural Development Programme.
