Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what discussions her Department has had with retailers on assisting parents to identify healthy lunchbox items (a) in store and (b) online.

Officials at the Department for Education have not held discussions with retailers on this issue.

We want to make it easier for parents to feel confident that they are preparing balanced, nutritious lunches for their children. The Department for Health has published further information such as recipes, tips and swap suggestions that are practical and affordable for parents.
