Data on Energy Performance Certificates required under Article 13 of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive to be displayed for buildings occupied by public authorities can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/live-tables-on-energy-performance-of-buildings-certificates (Table DEC1). Energy Performance Certificate data for non-domestic buildings over 500m2 can be found at: https://epc.opendatacommunities.org/. However, the Government does not routinely hold or collect data to identify buildings that are frequently visited by the public.

Compliance with Energy Performance Certificate requirements is checked by trading standards' bodies. My Department has sought information on the number of enforcement notices issued by trading standards' bodies and will provide advice in due course.
