Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how much funding the Welsh Government has received from the apprenticeship levy in the first year of its implementation.
The apprenticeship levy was introduced in April 2017. Given that skills policy is devolved, devolved administrations will receive a population share of the UK-wide revenue from the levy. In 2017-18, the Welsh Government will receive £128 million, meaning they are receiving their fair share of the Levy.
