Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made an assessment of the potential cost to the public purse of training new doctors and nurses in the event that the mandatory covid-19 vaccine policy results in existing staff leaving the NHS.

Following public consultation and consideration of the latest clinical evidence on the Omicron variant, the Government has revoked the regulations requiring COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of deployment in health and care settings.
