Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps his Department is taking to provide humanitarian support to the people of Myanmar.
The UK has provided more than £120 million in humanitarian and development assistance since the February 2021 coup, focused on life-saving assistance, emergency healthcare and education. This includes supporting the most vulnerable internally displaced persons, by providing food, water, hygiene and sanitation services, shelter and medical equipment.
