Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether her Department plans to publish a summary of the responses received to the consultation entitled SEND review: right support, right place, right time.

In early 2023, the department will publish an Improvement Plan which will outline our response to the public consultation on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Alternative Provision (AP) Green Paper entitled SEND Review: right support, right place, right time, and set out the steps the department will take to improve the system.

The department will also publish an ambitious and detailed implementation strategy in response to the Independent Review for Children’s Social Care, the Independent National Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel’s reviews into the murders of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes and Star Hobson, and the Competition Markets Authority report into children’s social care placements in early 2023.
