Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will make it his policy to end personal independence payment reassessments for people with incurable conditions; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the Hon. Member to the answer previously giving by the Hon. Member Penny Mordaunt MP on 25 July 2017 to Question UIN 5325.

Claimants who are terminally ill are not required to have a face-to-face consultation and automatically receive the enhanced rate of the daily living component. Most such claimants are also awarded the enhanced rate mobility component.
