Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, which Minister of her Department personally approved by seal and signature the Intoximeter EC/IR breath analysis device in June 2005 for use by police forces in the UK.

Ministerial approval for the Intoximeter EC/IR breath analysis device was granted in 2005 by the then Home Office Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, the late Paul Goggins.
