Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate his Department has made of the number of residential care homes that have closed in (a) Coventry North East constituency, (b) Coventry, (c) the West Midlands and (d) England in each of the last five years.
The following data represents the number of care homes which have been deactivated. These data exclude locations that have a published ‘successor’ organisation, where the service continues under new registration due to a legal entity change or a change in the provider. It may take several months for a ‘successor’ location to be published following a location deactivating and a new location arriving.
