Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what progress has been made on developing oil reserves around the Falkland Islands.

The Falklands oil and gas industry is managed by the Falkland Islands Government. Any assessment of the opportunities is the responsibility of the Falkland Islands Government and the private companies concerned.
