Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, when the CCUS Cost Challenge Task Force will be established; and whether the terms of reference will be made public.
This question was answered on 29th November 2017
The Department is currently in the process of setting up the carbon capture usage & storage (CCUS) Task Force and we expect the task force to deliver a plan to Government on deploying CCUS cost effectively in the UK summer 2018. Details of its membership and terms of reference will be published on the Department’s website in January 2018.
