Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent discussions he has had with the Governor of the Bank of England on manipulation of the London Interbank Offered Rate.

The Chancellor has regular discussions with the Governor of the Bank of England on a wide range of issues relating to financial services. As has been the practice of previous administrations, the Government does not provide details of such discussions.
