Question to the Northern Ireland Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, whether work is continuing on preparations to rebuild HM Prison Magilligan.

Responsibility for prisons in Northern Ireland are primarily a devolved area. Under the devolution of policing and justice in 2010, the Department of Justice (DoJ) is solely responsible for management of the prison estate.
