Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether he will discuss human rights concerns with his Bahraini counterpart during the joint Working Group between Bahrain and the UK on 17 October 2019.

During the twelfth UK-Bahrain Joint Working Group of 17 October, I discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain a wide range of areas of bilateral co-operation, including economic growth, security, and human rights.
