Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how much tax has been paid to HMRC by limited company directors in each of the last five years.

An estimate of the tax paid by limited company directors in each of the last five years is not available.

HMRC hold data on limited company directors but to provide information on all tax paid for this group for five years could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.

HMRC publish statistics on the total amount of income tax liable by individuals based on the Survey of Personal Incomes:
