Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what criteria Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs use to (a) calculate and (b) query freight charges for an individual who imports goods to the UK from abroad.

Freight charges are levied by commercial carriers. Therefore, those charges are a commercial matter between the carrier and their customers.
