Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Minister of State, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, whether he has had recent discussions with his Indian counterpart on implementing the Indian Supreme Court's decision of 3 January 2024.

The UK Government recognises that Indian Supreme Court decisions are a matter for India. The UK supports appropriate market regulatory mechanisms as a standard of good governance.
