Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when he plans to make a decision on upgrading and dualling the A120 between Braintree and the A12; and what the key performance target criteria are for that decision.

Decisions on upgrading the A120 will be made through the second Road Investment Strategy (RIS2), due to be published in 2019. The Department has supported Essex County Council’s work to appraise enhancement options, which will inform our decision-making.
