Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many prosecutions has the Environment Agency brought on illegal sewage spills by water companies in each year from 2000.

The Environment Agency has brought a total of 611 prosecutions against water companies for offences since 2000.
