Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, which academies in England are currently awaiting a transfer to another trust.

I am unable to reveal the names of academies awaiting transfer to another trust. We are committed to transparency, but this should not undermine the process of rebrokering by exacerbating any uncertainty. Where transfers do happen, these are announced as soon as possible and when appropriate, so that transfers can happen smoothly and in the best interests of pupils.
