The post-16 mathematics premium announced in the Budget will be uncapped, as we want as many pupils as possible to benefit from studying mathematics post-16. It is up to providers to decide how many students they can teach level 3 mathematics post-16, and up to, young people to decide whether they wish to continue studying the subject. Further information about the post-16 mathematics premium will be released in due course.
