Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for International Trade on the provision of guidance to UK companies on the (a) political and (b) economic risks of conducting business in Iran.

In November 2016, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department for International Trade, and HM Treasury published guidance for conducting business in Iran. This provides information on political risks, economic risks, sanctions and regulation compliance, amongst others.
