Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, how much the Government spent on funding for cavity wall insulation schemes in the last ten years.

We do not hold data on the amount of money spent on cavity wall insulation. Most of the cavity wall insulation installed under Government sponsored schemes has been funded under supplier obligations (such as the current Energy Company Obligation) and not funded directly by Government.

Over the last ten years around 3.5m cavity wall insulation measures have been installed under Government sponsored schemes.
