Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, pursuant to the Answer of 4 December to Question 115256, what plans he has to publish the economic research on the design and implementation of the future trade remedies framework.

The Department has been engaging with stakeholders on the insights from any economic research, and is committed to continuing this process. This will inform the detailed design of how the UK’s future trade remedies framework will work in practice, including the development of secondary legislation.
