Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether his Department has adopted (a) the recommendation in the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities’ report, published in October 2016, on undertaking a cumulative impact assessment of the measures adopted since 2010 on the rights to independent living and to be included in the community, social protection and employment of persons with disabilities and (b) other recommendations of that report.

DWP carefully considers the impact of individual policy changes, including the effect on individuals with protected characteristics in line with its legal obligations.
