To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment he has made of the effect of Network Rail’s transformation into a series of regional route businesses on the number of Network Rail jobs in York.

As an arm’s length body from government, Network Rail is responsible for assessing the effect of its transformation into a series of regional route business on the number of Network Rail jobs in each region.
