Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many acute hospital beds have become available as a result of the the additional funding allocated to adult social care in the March 2017 Budget.

NHS England publishes monthly data on the number of National Health Service beds occupied by patients experiencing a delayed transfer of care. The latest monthly data for September 2017 shows that there are 615 more acute beds available compared to March 2017. This data is available at the following link:
