Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether her Department and its agencies have issued guidance to local planning authorities and planning applicants on development (a) on and (b) near land previously used as a foot and mouth burial pit.

Defra does not issue guidance on development on, or near land, previously used as a FMD pit.
