To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of trends in the rates of lung cancer in the last five years.

The National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service, part of NHS Digital, collects data on all cancers diagnosed in England. The following figures are taken from the data tables of the National Statistics release of Cancer Registration Statistics, England 2020, published on 20 October 2022.
