Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, pursuant to his Answer of 26 October 2022 to Question 65982, Land Drainage, when he plans to publish the review and decision on implementation of Schedule 3 to the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 in England.

The review and decision were published on 10 January 2023. Government has accepted the review's recommendation to implement, subject to final decisions on scope, threshold, and process. There will be a public consultation on the regulatory impact assessment, mandatory standards, and statutory instrument later this year. Implementation is expected during 2024.
