The Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reassessment outcome data between October 2016 and October 2017 demonstrates that there has been a decrease from 16% to 15% in the number of people previously in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA), with a main disabling condition of epilepsy recorded on the DLA computer system, who have a lower award under PIP. There has been a decrease from 28% to 27% for the proportion of people who have a higher award under PIP. All other reassessment outcomes, including those disallowed, have remained the same proportionally.
