Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether officials in his Department plan to attend the trial of Sayed Nizar Alwadaei in Bahrain on 20 December.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and our Embassy in Bahrain continue to monitor this case, and have attended the court hearings. We plan to continue to do so.
