Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 18 December 2017 to Question 118525, for what reasons his Department has not made an assessment of the changes in the cost of the price of liquid helium in the last 10 years.
This question was answered on 21st December 2017
The price of liquid helium is governed by the normal operation of market forces and we have not considered it necessary to instigate a specific assessment or study of the cost of this product over the last ten years.
