Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, whether his Department has had discussions with the Iranian Government on its nuclear programme; and if he will make a statement.

BEIS officials have attended international meetings in Vienna and Brussels including officials from Iran, alongside other signatories of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or in support of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to discuss the implementation of civil nuclear aspects of the JCPOA by the parties to the Agreement.
