Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will estimate the cost to the public purse of introducing free bus passes for young people aged between 18 and 25 leaving care.
This question was answered on 21st December 2017
The Department acknowledges the Rt Hon Member’s concern, but it has not undertaken, and has no plans to undertake, any estimates of free bus passes specifically for young people leaving care.
