Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many people missed their appointment for a work capability assessment in the last twelve months; and what proportion of all work capability assessments that number represents.
Between December 2016 and November 2017, 775,715 face-to-face work capability assessments were completed in Great Britain. Over this period 282,223 people failed to attend a booked work capability assessment appointment.
