Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many text messages his Department has sent to parents to remind them to re-enrol for the 30 hours of funded childcare scheme.

On the 13th December 2017 HM Revenue and Customs issued 18,000 text message reminders to those parents who needed to confirm their details before January to continue receiving 30 hours free childcare.

Foster carers already receive funding for the care of their foster child from local authorities.
